Lead Sheet

Our Lead Sheet lists movie and television productions that have indicated an interest in filming in Miami-Dade County. As each production's status changes (development, pre-production, production, wrapped) it will be noted here. Productions will be dropped from the Lead Sheet if they are not green-lit for production, or decide to shoot elsewhere. A production fax number is provided, when available, to send resumes for possible employment opportunity.

    Job Description:
    Assist with overall production of video throughout CBSSports.com including news conferences, pre-produced segments and CBSSports.com original programming.
    Work with video team to publish video to CBSSports.com home page, arena pages, video player and throughout the CBS Audience Network.
    Freelance position; 20-25 hours per week.
    Compensation: $14/hour

    Promote and gain site traffic
    Create and maintain content areas
    Font coordination and graphic
    News room experience

    Requirements:
    4-year degree (or equivalent training and experience)
    Broadcast experience preferred.
    Non-linear video editing
    Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, Final Cut
    Expansive knowledge of all sports.
    Excellent writing skills and verbal communication
    Build strong working relationships with coworkers, direct reports (if applicable), customers (internal and external), and company management
    Must successfully pass a background check

    EVENT: SEEKING CREW (VARIOUS POSITIONS) for feature film "Sweat" (recall) 
    LOCATION: Miami 
    Feature-length Independent Film: "SWEAT" is entering pre-production and soon we will be required to formulate an exact estimate to place on our budget. We need to know the rates that would be charged (applicants who are selected will be meeting with me (I am the Acting Director at the moment) to discuss possible hiring - we do not foresee any production work taking place for some time but we wish to keep in touch with those who stand out the most and would be best qualified for a production working with (at minimum) $40,000 (or $200,000 maximum, depending on how much time is put into investment hunting). 
    We need the following: 
    - Camera Operator (with own equipment) 
    - 2 Boom Operators (each with own equipment) 
    - 1 Field Recorder (own equipment preferred but not required) 
    - 1 Camera Assist (experience in basic tasks involving video ) 
    - 1 Gaffer for Lighting (experience with lighting, setup, etc) 
    - 1 Lighting Tech / Assist (no experience necessary) 
    If you are one of the above, please submit your full contact name, email address, contact phone number, your full equipment setup if you have one, a formal resume, and experience in the field (please make sure to list what you have done - we aren't talking about weddings here, this is a feature length production - if your resume does not go into detail for each project (I need to make sure you have experience in the independent arts...wedding videographers feel free to submit as well...we may end up going with you if your rate stands within our budget. Also, (last one, I promise), send a typical day-to-day rate for an 8-12 hour day, totaling around 18-20 days of shooting through a period of 3-6 months.
